Roland Minda, Your Retirement CommentatorFor ten years, Roland Minda produced and hosted a weekly television interview show, Strictly Seniors, on Metro Cable Network, the largest cable network in Minneapolis/St. Paul. The program celebrated the pleasures for seniors of a non-working, non-regimented life, along with ideas, tips and suggestions on senior issues and concerns. Currently he is a regular guest on KARE 11 TODAY, a Twin Cities NBC station, covering a potpourri of senior topics.  Now comes the “Retirement Dance”, a blog with further commentary of unpredictable levels of interest and relevance to his senior compatriots.

Roland’s experience in a wide range of subjects for seniors — including senior finances, senior travel, senior retirement options, senior health, nutrition and exercise, senior entertainment and most importantly, staying connected and involved as one ages – make the Retirement-Dance blog valuable reading for seniors and their families.

In his longtime career, along with his peerless wife/business partner, Minda operated a public relations firm, Minda Associates in Minneapolis, where he grew up. Roland graduated from West High School and Princeton University, with a degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He served in the U.S. Army in World War ll, in New Guinea and the Philippines.
